Reunion planned for classes of 1960-1963!

February 24, 2012

Hello Fellow Graduates:

Well, it has finally arrived…………yes, it will be 50 years this May that the Class of 1962 left those sacred halls of St. Anastasia’s High School to venture out into the world that most of us never had a clue about.

So that brings us to the last weekend of April, Friday the 27th through Sunday the 29th.

We would also like to invite all the alumni from the classes of 1960, 1961, and 1963 to join us for one or all of the festivities.

Location:  Dockside Inn on South Beach.  We have had many of our reunions there before and it has proven to be a great location.  The rooms this year will range from $95.00 to $125.00 per night depending on the location.  They are offering a 15% discount to all alumni staying there.  Clyde has reserved 10 rooms and this can be increased as soon as we receive an RSVP from you.

Friday Afternoon:  Meeting at Archie’s on South Beach at 4:00.  They are allowing us to have the back patio for our meet and greet.  We can stay as long as we would like or make individual plans for dinner later that night.

Saturday Morning:  Clyde has suggested we tour the UDT – Seal Underwater Demo Teams Museum on North Beach for a morning activity.  Weather permitting a group beach picnic may be fun after that.  Suggestions are welcomed for both the afternoon and Saturday night.  I think the Sunrise Theater is a good bet for Saturday night.  Won’t know what is on their schedule until later in March.

Sunday Morning:  Brewer’s Café at 204 Orange Avenue has reserved the entire restaurant for us at 10:30.  Cost will be $15.00 per person and will include free Mimosas.

I will need a head count a couple of weeks before.

Hope to see a lot of familiar faces at the reunion this year and very sorry to say that many faces will be missed.

Please contact either Charlene at 321-231-9251 or Clyde at 772-216-0655 to confirm your attendance.  You can contact Dockside yourself for your reservation.  Let’s have some fun!!
