Shannon Grall (2004) is Getting Married!

Shannon Grall (2004) of Vero Beach, daughter of Bernard and Margaret Grall of Vero Beach, is engaged to David Brown Jr. of Vero Beach. Brown is the son of Tina Brown of Vero Beach, and David Sr. and Angel Brown of Vero Beach. Grall graduated from John Carroll High School in 2004, and will graduate from Florida Atlantic University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She is employed by Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach as a registered nurse. Brown graduated from Vero Beach High School in 2001 and from Florida Atlantic University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Business Administration.He is employed by Enterprise in Vero Beach as a management trainee. The couple plan to marry May 6.

 

Andrea Russotti (1999) marries Michael O’Hara and

Michael O’Hara and Andrea Russotti (1999) were married on November 6, 2010 at St. Lucie Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie, FL. Following the wedding they went on a cruise to the Bahamas.  The couple resides in the DC area.

Melinda A. Parrish (2000) is married!

Melinda A. Parrish of Fort Pierce, daughter of Reece J. and Linda M. Parrish of Fort Pierce, was married to Jamie Gwilt of Verona Beach, N.Y., on Nov. 13 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach, with the Rev. Michael Edwards officiating.

Gwilt is the son of John and Barbara Gwilt of Verona Beach.

Sinha Little of Boston was maid of honor, with Jessica Fanning, Kathy Albritton and Lindsay Kendall (2000) as bridesmaids.

Jeff Chandler of Port St. Lucie was best man, with Arden Miller, Chris Snure, Derek Clobes and Scott Gwilt as ushers. Ethan Dicanio was ring bearer.

A reception at Quail Valley River Club in Vero Beach followed the ceremony.

The bride graduated from John Carroll High in 2000 and from Florida Atlantic University in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. She is employed as an accountant in Port St. Lucie.

The groom is a certified firefighter and EMT, and is employed by All County Ambulance, Port St. Lucie as an EMT.

After a wedding trip to the Eastern Caribbean, the couple reside in Port St. Lucie.

Julie Ramos (2004) to wed!

Julie Ann Ramos of Stuart, daughter of Luis Ramos and Nancy H. Torres, both of Stuart, is engaged to David Sugar of Naples.

Sugar is the son of Viera Sugar of Naples.

Ramos graduated from John Carroll Catholic High in 2004 and from the University of Florida in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science. She is in her second year of dental school at Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale.

Sugar graduated from Barron Collier High in 2002 and from the University of Florida in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science. He is in his second year of medical school at Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale.

The couple plan to marry June 11.

 

Beth (Wilkenson) Fiske welcomes Ryder Dean

Beth (Wilkenson) Fiske and her husband Sam were proud to welcome their
first child Ryder Dean on September 22, 2010. He weighed 9 lbs and was
22 inches long. Ryder is a dream baby and he has added so much fun to
their lives.

Ali Koblegard (1993) weds Jerome Young

Ali Koblegard (1993)  of Fort Pierce, daughter of Rupert Neis III and Charlene Koblegard of Fort Pierce, was married to Jerome Young of Fort Pierce on July 31 on the beach in Hopetown, with Ben L. Bryan officiating.

Young is the son of Robert and Belle Young of Fort Pierce.

Mary Koblegard Kindred (1981), Laura Koblegard Reilly (1984), Kristy Koblegard Cheyne (1989) and Sara Koblegard Lloyd were bridesmaids.

A reception at the Hopetown Harbour Lodge followed the ceremony.

The bride graduated from John Carroll High in 1993, from the University of Florida and from St. George’s University School of Medicine. She is a pediatrician with Physicians for Children, Fort Pierce.

The groom graduated from John Carroll High in 1993 and from the University of Florida in 1997. He is self-employed.

The couple reside in Fort Pierce.

 

Sarah Watson and Dane Vachon are married

Sarah Watson (2002) and Dane Vachon (2002),  married on October 16, 2010. The ceremony and reception were held at Orchid Island Golf and Beach Club. The happy couple reside in Fort Pierce, FL, where they plan on building their first home together.

Rachel McCurdy(2004) & Teddy Willems(2004) are getting married!

Rachel McCurdy of Fort Pierce, daughter of Ron and Joanne McCurdy of Fort Pierce, is engaged to Teddy Willems of Fort Pierce.

Willems is the son of Ted and Shirley Willems of Fort Pierce.

McCurdy graduated from John Carroll High in 2004 and from the University of Central Florida with a degree in event management. She is a wedding planner with An Affair to Remember.

Willems graduated from John Carroll High in 2004 and from Indian River State College Fire School. He is employed by All County Ambulance.

The couple plan to marry Dec. 11.

John Carroll High School would like to invite you to its Open House!  The school will be holding its annual Open House for all current 6th, 7th, and 8th graders on Sunday, November 14, 2010, from 1:30 –3:30 p.m. All students and their parents are invited and encouraged to attend.

 

Please join us to learn what the school has to offer in academics, athletics, community involvement, clubs, and Christian services.  You can meet the faculty, staff, and administration; take a tour of the facilities with current students; and acquire registration and placement test information.

 

The decision of where to go to high school is an extremely important one, and we would like to inform you of what John Carroll High School has to offer.  At John Carroll 99% of our graduates go on to college.  More than sixty percent of 2010 graduates qualified for the Florida Bright Futures Scholarship, which helps pay for college tuition.  Standardized testing results are higher than the average local, state, and national results.

 

At JCHS, nearly every student participates in at least one interscholastic sport or extracurricular activity.  More than 20 varieties of each are available.  In the classroom, numerous dual enrollment, Advanced Placement, honors, and academic level classes are offered.  Financial aid is also available for qualified families.
